We’re so happy to share that Boldly has been named a top Inclusive Workplace for two years in a row by Best Companies Group and COLOR Magazine. And while we’re honored at the recognition, we believe that inclusion isn’t an award to strive for, but a standard to champion.

Remote Work = Inclusion

Our quest for inclusion started 10 years ago, when remote work was ridiculed as a “subpar” job option! Back then we firmly believed that there were millions of highly qualified, untapped talent who were ready to work harder than anyone else to challenge the status quo and prove to the world that the marginalized could revolutionize the way we all work.

And haven’t we been proven right?! Remote work has offered an opportunity to reach amazing people with incredible talents regardless of location or life situation and has broadened diversity and inclusion in the workplace. A recent survey revealed that 57% of working mothers, and 97% of Black knowledge workers prefer a remote work model.

By shifting our focus to outcomes and focusing on what we accomplish instead of when and how we accomplish it, remote work has empowered our team. They’ve thrived in the trust and freedom that comes with remote work

Recently, Boldly Team Member Lennie shared how remote work gives her the flexibility she needs to balance her career with caregiving for her mother. “With Boldly, I’m able to fly out to care for my mom, who lives in California. I can stay with her for a full week every month while continuing to work.”

A Culture Where Everyone Feels Welcome

When we started Boldly, our goal was to stand out for professionalism and quality and our positive, inclusive, and empowering culture. We knew the keystone to building a company like this was to hire incredibly talented people who also shared those values.

We’ve never compromised on this—and today our team is spotlighted for it.

LinkedIn post by Boldly CEO Sandra Lewis celebrating Boldly's Top Inclusive Company award.

Our cultural DNA is infused with kindness and caring. Everyone feels welcome and at home And this is the direct result of core values that respect each person and celebrate what they have to offer.

How do we do it? We hire individuals who insist on being “good” and on spreading that goodness. We are kind, we care about each other, and we care about doing an exceptional job. It really is that simple.

In a world where apathy and division are rampant, our core values are a strikingly different approach. Ultimately, credit goes to our incredible team whose focus and determination have made us what Boldly is today.
